SPLIT
Split is an evolving study on the theme of breeze blocks size, the three-dimensional dividing elements obtained through artisan productions of drawn terracotta that respond to the functional and aesthetic characteristics of louvres for the creation of new horizontal and vertical spaces in which air can circulate freely, usable in both domestic and public spaces. Split proposes three elements: Loop, Olique and Circle. Loop is a representation of the arches, capable of creating a “rhythm” within the space, allowing a glimpse of the environment which is located beyond the observation point giving continuity and at the same time, used in this new shape, an intimate and contemporary atmosphere. Oblique and Circle propose delicate and functional geometries thanks to the possibility of playing with the installation and creating dynamic compositions, with aligned or staggered laying, going beyond the simple cladding. The breeze blocks are thus reinterpreted with a modern vision, but preserving the traditional soul thanks to handcrafted production.

FORNACE
Terracotta was the first material used for flooring in human history and still retains its charm today thanks to the work of the master potters who pass on its tradition. The processing of terracotta tiles takes place entirely manually, taking care of every little detail of the process: from the choice of the raw material to the drying carried out naturally up to the glazing and firing that gives rise to an artifact whose imperfections in shape and surface do not represent so much defects. rather an added value of the material that differentiates it from the product produced in series or generically referred to as “industrial”. The enamel is in fact absorbed in a completely different way depending on the porosity of the material, creating different pieces each time. The matching between the different colors of the palette is surprising, allowing the most creative combinations.
